You've got a nice training facility there, Reed.  I dropped down from Bemidji today to pick up my boiler chemicals and took the opportunity to poke around.  You had a full class going and they looked pretty engrossed in the subject matter.

I snuck around to the back room and looked at some of your static displays.  There's a lot of stuff there that's going to help the students get comfortable with the trade.

Thanks for your help in getting me up to speed on the new chemical treatments for steam boilers.

Thanks, Harry

Thanks Harry. I'm sorry I missed you. You caught us in the middle of changing quite a few things around, so it may have been a bit disorganized, but I'm glad you liked it.

Strangely enough, the only complaint we've ever had on those visual aids is that we have too many of them. Never thought I would hear that.

The class you saw was our exam prep class. We also teach a fundamentals class in the evenings we call our STS-1 Certification Program. We are working on a course (STS-2) with more hands-on participation, so it should get even better as soon as we can devote the time to finish it. We will also be putting classes on line, so that should help for people up in your neck of the woods who would normally have to travel long distances to find training.

Thank you too....

Reed
